Technology
GEE’s guidelines for technology instruction are designed to equip students with the technology skills to use 21st Century tools to develop learning skills. GEE has identified key computer technology topics with which students will demonstrate proficiency as students progress through the grades. Code.org® is dedicated to expanding access to computer science in schools and increasing participation by women and underrepresented minorities. Every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science; and at GEE, computer science is just as important as biology, chemistry or algebra. Code.org provides the leading curriculum for K-12 computer science in the largest school districts in the United States and Code.org also organizes the annual Hour of Code campaign which has engaged 10% of all students in the world.
