Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)
Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at Riverside Academy East’s Preschool Program!
The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) at Riverside Academy East is Michigan's state-funded preschool for four-year-old children. Families qualify for free preschool based on annual income guidelines.
Below is the first step to enrolling your child in the GSRP program:
- Four years old before December 1
Please bring with you to complete the application:
- Birth certificate
- 2023 income tax or W-2
- Legal guardian driver's license
At Riverside Academy East, we will use the HighScope Preschool Curriculum, which is based on more than 50 years of research on early childhood development and aligned with national and state early learning standards, Common Core State Standards, and the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework Approaches to Learning.
